Indianapolis, IN (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Dwight Howard scored 27 points and the Orlando Magic pushed their win streak to three games Saturday with an 85-81 victory over the Indiana Pacers. The Pacers never led after 7-6, but they had several chances in the final seconds to tie a game that grew increasingly chippy down the stretch.

 

Jason Richardson added 17 points and Ryan Anderson had 12 for the Magic, whose winning streak comes on the heels of four straight losses. Still missing point guard Jameer Nelson, they won despite turning the ball over 25 times.

 

Atlanta, GA (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - With a career-high 15 points, Nikola Vucevic was one of six 76ers to score in double figures as Philadelphia took down the Atlanta Hawks, 98-87. Spencer Hawes returned from a 10-game absence and netted 14 points, five rebounds and five assists while Lou Williams and Thaddeus Young each added 14 points apiece for the Sixers, who rebounded from a 99-79 loss to Miami on Friday. Philadelphia has won five of its last six games.

 

Milwaukee, WI (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Derrick Rose set the tone right from the opening tip Saturday, scoring 16 of his team's first 18 points as the Chicago Bulls routed the Milwaukee Bucks, 113-90. Rose finished with 26 points and 13 assists for the Bulls, who have won two straight and three of four. Luol Deng returned from a seven-game absence and scored 21 points to go with nine rebounds.

 

Lin, the second-year guard out of Harvard, scored a career-high 25 points to lead the Knicks to a 99-92 victory over the New Jersey Nets on Saturday.

 

Prior to Saturday, Lin had just 108 career points in 38 games for the Warriors and Knicks.

 

Amare Stoudemire and Tyson Chandler scored 17 points apiece but Carmelo Anthony had just 11 on 3-of-15 shooting. Still, the Knicks snapped a two-game losing streak and salvaged the end of a back-to-back-to-back stretch after losing to the Bulls on Thursday and Boston on Friday.

 

D'Antoni said he was impressed with Lin's defense in addition to the obvious spark he provided on offense. Lin added seven assists, five rebounds and two steals in his nearly 36 minutes off the bench.

 

The Knicks trailed by as many as 12 points in the first quarter and were down 30-20 going into the second. Lin was scoreless in 3 1/2 minutes in the frame. He had six points in the second quarter and the Knicks outscored the Nets, 26-18, to pull within two at halftime.

Cleveland, OH (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Kyrie Irving scored 20 points, including a tough reverse layup in traffic with 15.8 seconds remaining, as the Cleveland Cavaliers held on to defeat the Dallas Mavericks, 91-88. After Irving's layup made it a three-point margin, Jason Terry missed a three- pointer from the top of the arc with 0.9 left. But following a review, the Mavericks got one final opportunity with 0.5 showing on the clock. Brandan Wright's desperation shot at the buzzer was off the mark.
